To kick off this series, we’re excited to share the stories of Fixtured’s three co-founders. We may support different teams, but we’re united by a shared passion for sports and a mission to make following sports schedules effortless.

What teams and competitions do you have in your watchlist? Can you share the story behind this selection?

My watchlist very much reflects my personal story. I was born and raised in Nantes, France, lived over a decade in New York City, moved to Paris for a year, and I'm now based in the south of France near Marseille. This made starting my watchlist very easy: FC Nantes, Marseille, the French national teams across football, rugby and handball, PSG, and the New York Knicks.

I grew up playing handball in Nantes (now one of the best teams in the world!), and I follow them on Fixtured, along with Aix, the closest professional handball team to me.

I also like to keep track of Formula 1 races. With races happening worldwide, time differences make it tricky to catch them live, so I like knowing which ones I’ll be able to watch with my son.

I'm a huge football fan and watch more games than I’d like to admit, so I also follow competitions like the Champions League, Europa League, the Euros, etc. and a few other teams I like to keep an eye on.

How has Fixtured changed how you follow your favorite teams or leagues?

It completely changed the way I follow the teams and events I care about. Before Fixtured, I had to open multiple apps to check when my favorite teams were playing across different sports and mentally piece together the schedules. I also used calendar streams, but they were unreliable and clunky, and I still needed other apps for basic things like scores and standings.

With Fixtured, I now have all these events in one streamlined calendar view, plus easy access to scores, broadcast info, standings, and form.

Something else I’ve noticed is that I’ve become a lot more curious about sports I follow less closely. When everything is integrated into one simple app, it’s much easier to keep an eye on different teams and events.

What’s your favorite feature on Fixtured, and why?

For me, it’s the calendar view and the ability to follow so many different sports. This is the core concept of Fixtured and where we've invested most of our design and engineering efforts. It makes the product unique and aligns perfectly with how I plan my time, making it easy to organize my week or weekend.

There's a few other things I love about the product: small details like having the tv channels appear directly on the cards, the ability to quickly glance at scorers and standings, and the morning digest notification. It’s the perfect way to start the day and know if there are events worth watching.

What advice would you give to a new user getting started with Fixtured?

Start by following just a few teams you’re really interested in—whether it’s your favorite teams, local teams, or ones your friends and family love. Then, consider which full competitions you’d like to track.

Starting small will keep your calendar simple and uncluttered, and it’ll make your notifications much more relevant.

Any new sport, team, league or feature you'd love to see on Fixtured?

I’m getting into cycling, so I’d love to follow big races like the Tour de France or the Giro d’Italia.

Right now, we focus on pro competitions, but one day, I’d love to track local semi-pro or amateur teams—maybe even my kids’ teams to see their weekend games. That would be amazing!
